Installation & access

Open achat.aoneahsan.com in a current browser, or install the Android app from Google Play. Both are the same AChat, with the same chats.

Web

AChat runs in any current browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Nothing to install.

On a phone, AChat's pages are laid out like an app: the main action stays within reach of your thumb, and the page links sit under More links. On a computer, or in a narrowed browser window, you get the web layout.

Android

Get it on Google Play. Android asks you before AChat can use the camera (to scan a code), the microphone (voice notes and dictation), notifications, or location (only in a chat with device and location history on).

iPhone and iPad

There's no iOS app. Use AChat in Safari on the web.

Two ways to join

Your username is 3–24 letters, numbers, dots or underscores, and you can change it later. If you have an account, AChat doesn't link your anonymous room messages to it.

Can I try it first?

Yes. The demo walks through four short tasks with made-up people, and nothing you type there leaves the page.

Who can use AChat

You need to be 16 or older. An account found to belong to someone younger is closed.
